MSNBC.com Article Inspired by Post Originating on the OrganizingLA Blog
Can a blog post inspire a newspaper story, and another and another? We're grateful that ours did.
MSNBC.com has picked up a story originally published by the Orange County Register, which was in turn, inspired by one of our blog posts.
We blogged about the KCBS/KCAL Mother's Day Makeover our company participated in on Wednesday April 27th. The Orange County Register picked up our blog story for Friday, May 5th publication and we just found out that the Register updated the piece, with pictures and garage clutter-clearing tips. On Wednesday, May 10th, that story ran again and that same day, MSNBC.com pulled content from the Orange County Register story for publication on their website.
Okay, it's not that our post was brilliant. It was the love and care Taffy Dalby put into each and every care package she sends to the troops overseas (not to mention her extreme commitment to the tough process of downsizing her garage in order to make additional space.) That's why the story got so much attention. And again, we're so honored to have been a part of it.
